Eyewear Warranty & Policy

Lens Warranty 

**Polycarbonate Standard Anti-Reflective Single Vision under +4.00 sphere, -6.00 sphere with cylinder -2.00  $65

**Polycarbonate Standard Anti-Reflective Bifocals & Progressives under +4.00 sphere, -6.00 sphere with cylinder -2.00  $200

The warranty is valid for 1 year from the original eye exam date and it covers a one-time lens remake against normal wear and tear.

Damage lenses must be returned to the optician at Skippack Eyecare.

Exclusions

**Out of range parameters lens remake receives a 25% discount off retail price.

**Lens remake for premium upgrades and materials, Transitions, Polarized, and specialty lenses receives a 30% discount off retail price.

There is no warranty for the following:

  • Frames

  • Special orders such as prisms, slabs, or lenticular

  • Misappropriate Abuse

  • Loss

  • Theft of the glasses

  • Glass lenses

If the frame is older than 1 year, the patient is reliable for all the risks of inserting new lenses.

There is no downgrade warranty on the lenses. No refunds after the warranty have been purchased.

Return and Refund Policy

If you wish to cancel your orders, there is a 50% restocking fee on frames and lenses. Frames and lenses are customized to individual person and cannot be re-purpose to other individuals.

Eyewear Repairs

If you purchased glasses from us within 1 year, repairs and adjustments are free. 

If you purchased glasses from elsewhere or more than 1 year from us, repairs and adjustments are a $10 fee. 

If you purchased glasses from elsewhere and are having issues, there is a $20 evaluation fee with the optician and prescription re-check with the doctor is subjected to your co-pay, co-insurance, deductible or our doctor's evaluation fee.

If you wish to remake your lenses and did not purchase our lens warranty, we offer 20% to 35% discount on the full retail price.

PD Request

If you request your PD measurement, we cannot release it due to the Optician’s Liability. The optical or optician whom you wish to purchase glasses from are held responsible for all needs relating to glasses, including the PD measurement.
